In-Service Professional Development for Schools

NJHEART offers customized professional development for educators in both formal and informal learning environments. We collaborate with teachers, counselors, instructional coaches, and school leaders to foster the creation of inclusive and equitable educational environments.

Our in-service sessions are available in full-day, half-day, and hourly formats, and can be tailored to meet the specific priorities and goals of each school or district. While in-person workshops are preferred for their interactivity and impact, we also offer virtual sessions upon request.

Beginning with the 2023–24 school year, NJHEART accepts payment from school districts for in-service programming. However, in keeping with our mission to ensure access for all, we will continue to offer training at no cost to districts that lack available funding. For more information about how these funds support our work, please visit our Donations page.

Our team of experienced educators is available to collaborate with you to design a program that meets your unique needs. To begin the process, please complete this short consultation survey.

We also offer free, ongoing online workshops for individual educators. To learn more, visit our Short Training Sessions page.
