Our Vision

NJHEART provides specific strategies and support for teachers, counselors, and administrators committed to implementing Anti-Racist Education (ARE) strategies in their schools and classrooms. These services are provided free of charge by educators that possess varying degrees of experience implementing ARE and are still actively working in schools. Through the use of voluntary professional development sessions, in-service days, and direct one-on-one support by request, the goal is to help as many educators take on this much-needed challenge of addressing prejudice and discrimination in education and society.
