Building the Confidence to be an Antiracist Educator

Based on the research in Liz Kleinrock's book "Start Here, Start Now: A Guide to Antibias and Anti-racist work in your school", participants will be able to work on their own identity map and learn how this effects their learning and teaching journey as educators. We will discuss the basics to becoming an ABAR (antibias and antiracist) educator and how to make the school community welcoming for ALL students. This session will also leave space for discussion amongst participants and facilitators to learn from each other.
