Implicit Biases & Microaggressions in Schools

Consciously, most of us strive to treat everyone the same, regardless of race, ethnicity, gender, sexual orientation, etc… The reality is that we have many unconscious biases that impact our thoughts and actions many times each and every day. While this training cannot eliminate your implicit biases, it can start the process of making you more aware of how they influence your role as an educator, and provide strategies on how to diminish the impact they have on you.
